Latest release: My Neck Is Red but I Vote Blue

I wrote me a country rock song for the election season.

When young I was kidnapped by aliens who called me Quord and forced me to compose. Under that name I released two albums and a single. But now I use my Earthling name.

Actually I’m digging deeper into music after a professional career focused on energy and environmental issues. I play keys, write and record songs, and sing in a local choir that performs African-American gospel.

I hear new music when I'm dreaming, walking, or gardening, and I want to make the music real. I’m inspired to write tunes that are upbeat and hopeful even when facing pain, instead of the despair and darkness currently in the air. This positive spirit imbues the album Sudden Light and my new single My Neck Is Red but I Vote Blue.

My songs combine pop, R&B, classic rock, and New Wave influences. I also write piano instrumentals and the occasional country song.

The music is available through Apple, Spotify, Amazon, Tidal, and other digital services, under my Earthling name Aaron Adler or my former artist name Quord.
